Reverend Dr Mark Siddall is currently Curate-in-Charge of Draycot Benefice, just north of Chippenham. Prior to his ordination, he had an international career in Climate Research. He gained his PhD at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton before taking Postdoctoral research posts at the University of Bern, Switzerland and Columbia University, NYC. Mark then settled into a research fellowship at the University of Bristol. Mark has published fifty peer reviewed articles and book chapters in the scientific literature, including in the journals Nature and Science, which together have been cited thousands of times. Since ordination Mark has continued his research and teaching interests in Climate Change, presenting at workshops, leading courses to train clergy and writing papers and study notes.
